Waste No Water Library Tour | Snow Library
December 3 @ 5:00 pm
A direct link to agendas for public meetings will be posted in the calendar event at least 48 hours before the meeting, not including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays. G.L. c. 30A, § 20(b).
Barnstable County’s Massachusetts Alternative Septic System Technology Center (MASSTC) is presenting at the Craine Room at Snow Library in Orleans as part of the Waste No Water Library Tour, a Cape-wide series engaging the public in over 10 Cape towns to discuss local wastewater successes and challenges.
MASSTC representatives will begin the event with a screening of the recent Scientific American documentary Yellow Tide, which highlights their work. Following a brief overview of the current wastewater landscape, the focus will shift to innovative septic solutions, including nitrogen-reducing systems, urine-diverting, and composting toilets. The session will conclude with an open Q&A, providing attendees the opportunity to ask their wastewater-related questions.
This event is free and open to the public. Anyone interested in learning more about wastewater solutions on the Cape is encouraged to attend.
