Assembly of Delegates Public Hearing on Proposed Ordinance Nos. 21, 22, 23 and 24

On August 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., the Barnstable County Assembly of Delegates will hold hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearings on Proposed Ordinance 2024-21 Establishing job descriptions for Cape Cod regional employees of the Assembly of Delegates; Proposed Ordinance 2024-22, Authorizing budget transfers in the amount of $16,000 within the County’s operating budget for the fiscal year two-thousand and twenty-four, as enacted in Ordinance number 2023-03, for the general operations of Barnstable County to provide necessary funding for salaries associated with the County Commissioners/Administration; Proposed Ordinance 2024-23, Authorizing budget transfers in the amount of $105,000 within the County’s operating budget for the fiscal year two-thousand and twenty-five, as enacted in Ordinance number 2024-08, for the general fund operations of Barnstable County to provide necessary funding for professional/technical services associated with supporting grant fiscal management; and Proposed Ordinance 2024-24, Authorizing budget transfers in the amount of $11,205 within the County’s operating budget for the fiscal year two-thousand and twenty-four, as enacted in Ordinance number 2023-03, for the general operations of Barnstable County to provide necessary funding for salaries associated with the County Commissioners/Administration and the Assembly of Delegates. The public hearings will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinances has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County. It is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website.
