  Free parent education programs and free playgroups promoting early literacy and community connections for isolated families. These programs grew to other locations throughout the Lower and Outer Cape and are now reaching the Mid-Cape region. As community needs have evolved, CCCP has continued to develop new services to meet those needs, including programs to support families affected by substance use disorder and support groups for grandparents raising grandchildren.

  The Department of Children and Families (DCF) works in partnership with families and communities to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. In most cases, DCF is able to provide supports and services to keep children safe with parents or family members.

  This wide-ranging group is primarily interested in the lot of young people on Cape Cod. From agencies directly supporting youth (like Big Brothers, Big Sisters or the Boys and Girls Club) to entities providing services of interest to youth (Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority, or Cape Cod Young Professionals), this group examines and addresses many aspects of life for young people in BC.
