When a natural disaster, storm event, or other regional emergency happens, the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee activates the Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MACC).

Its purpose is to provide emergency resources to towns if needed.  The MACC directs the opening of regional emergency shelters in the event of natural disasters that significantly impact our region.

Check back to this Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee webpage during the next emergency event. We also invite you to follow us on social media.
