Sign up for Mental Health First Aid, which takes place TOMORROW, August 9th, from 9AM to 5PM at the Ann Maguire Women’s Wellness Center (3 Main St., Unit 7, in Eastham)! Learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults.
This course will teach you how to apply the MHFA Action Plan (ALGEE):
▶️ Assess risk for suicide or harm
▶️ Listen nonjudgmentally
▶️ Give reassurance and information
▶️ Encourage appropriate professional help
▶️ Encourage self-help and other support strategies
