November 30, 2022 | A cold front associated with a strong low-pressure system is approaching from the Southwest, bringing strong winds and rain to our region.
Update as of 11/30/22 at 10:40 AM:
- Wind gusts of 40-50mph are expected across the Commonwealth, with gusts of up to 60 mph possible over the Cape and Islands.
- The strongest winds are expected between 3 and 10 PM tonight. Gusts will remain strong through Thursday, gradually subsiding through pre-dawn hours Friday.
- Rain amounts of .50-.75 inches expected. Wind chill temperatures in the teens and low twenties expected overnight.
- National Grid and Eversource are actively monitoring the weather forecast and have crews ready to respond if necessary.
