Barnstable County HOME-ARP Allocation Plan: Upcoming Community Meetings
Barnstable County Human Services and Barrett Planning Group will be hosting an introductory
community meeting for each subregion as part of the development of the County’s HOME-ARP Allocation Plan. This plan will inform the County’s use of one-time supplemental HOME funds granted under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 for homelessness assistance and supportive services.
There will be a total of five community meetings open to the public. Each meeting will cover the same
content and will include a presentation about the HOME-ARP program, how funds can be used, and
specific regional needs that will inform the plan. Participants will be able to provide feedback about
current needs, as well as how the County could best allocate its $1,556,508 in HOME-ARP funds to
benefit qualifying populations.
