Barnstable County Human Rights Advisory Commission Seeks to Fill Vacancies
Human Rights Advisory Commission is vital in promoting and advancing human rights on Cape Cod.
September 6, 2022 (Barnstable, MA) – The Barnstable County Human Rights Advisory Commission (BCHRAC) is seeking applications to fill two vacancies. Comprised of nine commissioners and two alternates appointed by the Board of Regional Commissioners, the BCHRAC promotes equality and human rights throughout the County.
Human Rights Advisory Commissioners are expected to attend monthly meetings, serve on at least two ad hoc committees, and support the staff in promoting human rights through education and school-based activities.
Interested candidates must be a permanent resident of Barnstable County. People with varied language skills and diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
