[Thursday Morning 7:30 AM] CURRENTLY widespread power outages continue across the region with significant tree damage due to high winds. Residents are urged to stay off roads for their safety and so utilities can work to restore power.
The Shelter at the Barnstable County Intermediate School will be closing at 8:00 AM due to extremely low turn-out and anticipated power restoration beginning today.
While we are waiting for power to return, check on your friends and neighbors. If you have a generator or power, offer someone shelter, warmth, a place to charge devices until we are fully restored.
