July 16, 2021 | Mosquitoes collected in Barnstable County tested positive for West Nile virus this week

July 15, 2021 | Falmouth, MA – One sample of 50 Culex pipiens/restuans mosquitoes trapped in Woods Hole collected on 7/13 tested positive for West Nile virus.

Testing is only positive or negative, so we don’t know how many mosquitoes in the batch were positive.
