Avoid Missing Notifications of Regional COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics
Published on: January 29, 2021
The state’s vaccine map at mass.gov/COVIDVaccineMap did not display the vaccine clinic that Barnstable County opened at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds for February 3. Many people who had the direct link to the booking tool PrepMod at http://www.maimmunizations.org made appointments, and the clinic was quickly full before it was shown available on the mass.gov map. We sincerely apologize for this inconsistency and will continue to work with the state to ensure that all our local clinics are displayed on their vaccine map.
In order to avoid missing notifications of a COVID vaccination clinic in the future, Barnstable County recommends that you check both the state map at mass.gov/COVIDVaccineMap and http://www.maimmunizations.org. Please also check the Barnstable County website often at www.barnstablecountyhealth.org and our social media for announcements of upcoming clinics.
