NEW: Winter Storm Warning for Cape Cod (6-8″ expected) and Winter Weather Advisory for Martha’s Vineyard (2-4″ expected).
[5:30 AM] The biggest changes made this morning were to include southern Rhode Island/southeast Massachusetts in the Winter Storm Warning and place Cape Cod/Martha’s Vineyard under a Winter Weather Advisory.
Snow arrives from southwest to northeast during the early evening. Road conditions will deteriorate quickly due to snowfall rates 1-2″ per hour – travel with extreme caution. Snow totals have been adjusted upward in across central/western Massachusetts #MAwx #CTwx #RIwx
