How to Support the Indigenous American Community this Thanksgiving

This Thanksgiving, take a moment to learn about the actual events that transpired between Native Americans and colonizers before celebrating with your friends or family (socially-distanced of course). As social movements such as the Black Lives Matter movement continue to make waves in the United States, it is important to recognize the racism Native Americans faced at the hands of the settlers. We cannot ignore a genocide that decimated their tribes by the masses. We must learn from our nation’s history and do better to protect the Indigenous community and other minorities. YOU can make a difference by educating yourself or donating your time or money this fall.
