Meet Barnstable County’s Hazardous Materials Environmental Specialist Kalliope Chute

Today’s Employee Feature goes to Kalliope Chute! Kalliope works as a Hazardous Materials Environmental Specialist in the Water Quality and Hazardous Materials program at the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension. Kalliope’s job is to help protect Cape Cod’s sole source aquifer from chemical contamination.
When asked what she likes best about working for the County and the people of Cape Cod, Kalliope said,“I have been working for the County since 2004 and appreciate the hardworking and collaborative colleagues within the County enormously; the people who work, live and visit Cape Cod have the right to clean water and I am happy to do my bit to help.”
