Meet Our New Communications Intern Thomas Gruttadauria

Thomas Gruttadauria grew up on Cape Cod. He’s a proud graduate of Dennis-Yarmouth High School and a rising junior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst studying Communications and Natural Resources Conservation. He is also a member of the prestigious Minuteman Marching Band percussion section.
Thomas is working on a variety of communications projects this summer, all helping to raise awareness of Barnstable County’s mission in our region.
Despite the downsides of completing his internship remotely this year, Thomas is committed to gaining as much as he can from this experience.
Even though we are still dealing with the coronavirus pandemic effects, making a difference in our community keeps Thomas motivated. Thomas says, “I knew this internship would be the best opportunity at this stage in my college career to learn how to achieve and strive in the Communications field.”
