Barnstable County official: Closures could go on for weeks

“You look at what we’re going through now and it’s very unprecedented,” Sean O’Brien, director of the county’s Department of Health and the Environment, said during a morning news briefing. It is possible state officials could extend the stay-at-home advisory and mandatory closure of nonessential businesses by one to three weeks, O’Brien said.
