Gov. Charlie Baker Orders Non-Essential Businesses to Cease In-Person Operations

March 23, 2020 – Today, Gov. Charlie Baker issued an emergency order requiring all businesses and organizations that do not provide “COVID-19 Essential Services” to close their physical workplaces and facilities to workers, customers and the public as of Tuesday, March 24th, 12:00 PM until Tuesday, April 7th, 12:00 PM.

Businesses and organizations not providing essential services are encouraged to continue operations remotely.

Residents are recommended to stay home and avoid unnecessary travel and other activities during this two-week period. No shelter in place has been ordered for the State of Massachusetts.  Read the full press release HERE.
