Cape Cod Healthcare confirms first COVID-19 patient in Barnstable County

March 14, 2020 – Cape Cod Healthcare has just confirmed the first COVID-19 patient in Barnstable County. Please read the full press release http://bit.ly/2w6E9B5 We continue to ask residents to take proper precautions, including social distancing and regular hand-washing.

Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment Director Sean O’Brien offers this statement to our communities on Cape Cod: “Barnstable County continues to support Cape Cod Healthcare and the 15 towns on Cape Cod in response to this virus. Please continue to visit our website https://www.barnstablecountyhealth.org for the most up-to-date information.

Beginning today, you can also call 2-1-1, a 24-hour, state-supported hotline for information about COVID-19, testing, and more.  Spanish speakers are available on this line, in addition to translation services for other languages.
