Meet Our AmeriCorps Members
BARNSTABLE, MA- Get to know the Year 21 AmeriCorps members serving with the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee.
Daniel Flockton is a native of nearby Carver, MA. He studied History at Bridgewater State. He is placed on the Upper Cape. Dan is focused on gaining more experience in large scale disaster preparedness. He is looking forward to gaining firsthand experience in the planning and administration aspects of serving with the BCREPC.
Eric Rippee traveled all the way from Kansas City, MO to join AmeriCorps Cape Cod. He studied French and Mathematics at Truman State University. Eric is placed on the Outer Cape. He is eager to learn about Barnstable County’s Emergency Preparedness Division and get involved in disaster response. Eric aims to form relationships with those he serves with to build support and give back to the community.
Alex Davies is from Wayne, NJ. She studied Literature and Creative Writing from Ramapo College. She is placed on the Upper Cape. Her interest in disaster preparedness stems from her experience in Hurricane Sandy. Alex is ready to serve the community and expand her knowledge of disaster safety. Her goal for the 2019-20 year is to become better acquainted with emergency shelter management.
