Master Gardeners Accepting Applications for 2019 Class

The Master Gardener Association of Cape Cod is now accepting applications for their 2019 class.

The Master Gardener Program is a cooperative effort between community volunteers and the Cape Cod Cooperative Extension. This program is designed to meet the horticulture needs of Barnstable County citizens through education and outreach. If accepted into the program you will be trained by the Cooperative Extension to utilize their expertise in order to teach people about plants, pests, and the environment as it relates to ornamentals and food crops. This is a long term commitment and you should be willing to commit to the volunteer and training time.

So if you enjoy gardening and are enthusiastic about helping people and would like to share your knowledge about gardening then you should consider submitting an application. Deadline for applications is October 1st.

All information and application for the program can be found on our website at https://www.capecodextension.org/aghort/
