12:00 p.m. update: Latest statement from BCREPC “At its 10 a.m. conference call, the Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC) reviewed the progress of power restoration on Cape Cod and the status of the regional shelter system.Significant gains in power restoration have occurred since Wednesday at 6 p.m. when well over 100,000 subscribers were without power. According to Eversource, there were around 27,000 outages at 10 a.m. on Thursday.
