For Immediate Release: Barnstable County Stands Down from Emergency Operations

The Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC) has concluded emergency operations for Storm Grayson. After a 24-hour operational period, the BCREPC Multi-Agency Coordination Center (MACC) demobilized at 8 a.m. Friday.
The BCREPC gives its heartfelt thanks to its emergency operations partners who staffed the MACC:
- Barnstable County All Hazards Incident Management Team
- Eversource Energy
- Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency (MEMA)
- Cape Cod Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES)
- AmeriCorps Cape Cod
The BCREPC also thanks the individuals and organizations that support the Regional Emergency Shelter system and who remained on standby over the course of the storm:
