MassOptions: Free Resource Links to Elder Services and CORD

MassOptions connects elders, individuals with disabilities and their caregivers to agencies and organizations that can best meet their needs.  A telephone call to their trained specialists provides fast, personalized attention.  MassOptions is a free referral resource service that is available for all individuals with or without health insurance. Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands is the local referral agency for the elderly and Cape Organization for the Rights of the Disabled (CORD) is the local referral agency for the disabled.

“Services for the elderly and the disabled are so complicated and confusing to the average person that it’s great that the Commonwealth has created one-stop shopping.  MassOptions offers a statewide hotline that will connect the caller to the local agency that can help them the best.  Mass Options can transfer the caller to a local agency while the caller waits,” states Paul Wild, Contracts and Customer Services Manager, Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands.

Contact MassOptions, toll-free, at 1-844-422-6277 or chat on-line with a representative 7 days a week from 8AM – 8PM.

Elder Services of Cape Cod and the Islands and Cape Organization for the Rights of the Disabled (CORD) are members of Barnstable County’s Health and Human Services Advisory Board.
