RSAC Provides Training to Town Coalitions

Barnstable County town coalitions working on substance use prevention came together on February 23, 2016 for the second RSAC Coalition Roundtable. The focus of the February training was capacity building and problem solving for town coalitions and included goals to improve attendees substance use data literacy, ability to find local and state data on substance use, use of —safe messaging, and ability to turn data into information. Presenters included Carl Alves, MassTAPP, Beth Albert, Director Barnstable County Department of Human Services Director, and Samantha Kossow, Coordinator Barnstable County Regional Substance Abuse Council.
