Barnstable County has 23,000 veterans many of whom deal with physical, mental, and financial challenges. Across the Country, 22 veterans commit suicide every day, and 69% of these suicides are among veterans 50 years and older. The Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center is hosting a Behavioral Health Symposium for service providers to veterans.
