What Happened Here Documentary Featured on NPR

“What Happened Here: The Untold Story of Addiction on Cape Cod” was featured today (1/12/2016) on WCAI’s Mindy Todd show. Produced by Sam Tarplin and Nate Robertson in 2014, the positive film is a full length documentary that tells the stories of addicts, families, law enforcement, clinicians and community leaders who are affected by addiction and recovery on The Cape. Barnstable County has a thriving recovery community aided by treatment centers, twelve step groups, faith based groups, and other former addicts and alcoholics who stay abstinent. The grassroots project staff consists of recovering addicts from the Upper Cape who are have volunteered for little or no pay and is available online.
