The Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC) held a conference call at 10 a.m. Sunday, February 1, 2015, to discuss the winter storm predicted to arrive in the early hours of February 2. Compared to the storm last week, the upcoming event does not appear to pose the same level of concern for Cape Cod. With that in mind, the BCREPC will not activate the Regional Shetler System or the Mulit-Agency Coordination Center (MACC). The BCREPC will continue to monitor the situation and has asked its partner agencies to remain on alert.
