Barnstable County Places In Top 10 U.S. Digital Counties!
It’s Official! Barnstable County is being recognized as one of the leading examples of counties using technology to improve services and boost efficiencies. The Center for Digital Government (CDG) and the National Association of Counties (NACo) have announced the 2014 Digital Counties Survey winners. Thanks to its progressive technology force and regional services, Barnstable County placed 9th in the country (150,000-249,999 population category.) The national survey is conducted each year to identify U.S. Counties using technology and open government practices to better serve their citizens.
