Regional Bike Safety Program a Success

j1 Beach Party Bike Light Pickup

The Regional Bike Safety Awareness & education initiative between Barnstable County & CCRTA has turned out to be a great success across the Cape.  So far over 600 lights have been distributed and there are more on the way.  The lights are being provided to seasonal j1 workers free of charge by the program.  The bike safety lights are available for pickup at local Police Departments and at the j1 beach parties sponsored by the Council on Churches across the Cape.  See below for a schedule of the j1 beach parties and your local Police Department contact information.  Have a safe and happy summer!
