BARNSTABLE – The Barnstable County Regional Emergency Planning Committee (BCREPC) has recently upgraded its public information capabilities with the implementation of Facebook and Twitter accounts.
The BREPC will coordinate social media capabilities with its website, bcrep.org, to enhance its ability to share information about emergency preparedness, help citizens prepare for potential disasters, encourage volunteer recruitment, and maintain clear and current information during emergency events.
The BCREPC encourages citizens, the news media, and its stakeholders and partners to “like” the BCREPC at facebook.com/bcrepc and follow the BCREPC on Twitter @bcrepc.
