Healthy Cyclists, Healthy Communities – A Big Success!!
Published on: November 12, 2013
On Friday November 8, 2013 over 120 people attended the first Cape Cod Bicycle Summit. The event was hosted by the Barnstable County Department of Human Services and Mass In Motion. Mass in Motion is a statewide initiative of the Department of Public Health and promotes policy change to encourage healthy eating and active living. Barnstable County is one of 33 MiM projects in the state. A big thank you to our gold sponsors for the event – Cape Cod Cycling Club, Cape Cod Fitness Company, Cape Cod Regional Transportation Authority, Corner Cycle and Cape Air.
